Clean Uninstall!! - Macrovision Community
Clean Uninstall!! Hi All, I created an install for a software. This software will be installed in a folder called WXYZ. Other software(s), about 10, will be installed in the same folder. They all will share about 6 folders and a multitude other files. I set all these files and folders to be shared, on some I used XCopyFile on some others I used the File Groups pane and have Shared set to yes. All programs work fine. However, uninstalling them leave WXYZ on my drive with all the other shared folders, which is not good. But all the shared files are gone, which is ok. I wonder if anyone experienced this before.

Not exactly pretty, I think CCleaner definately has more attractive interface, in DCleaner the tools page is particularly ugly/plain (and why have a button for the Windows Disk Cleanup in a disk cleaner application?) . At the moment I'd say it's an OK CCleaner "clone" that cleans a couple of progs CCleaner doesn't (TuneUp Utilities, Perfect Disk and Registry Mechanic) but doesn't bring anything really new along. Having said that I'd still like to thank the author for spending the time to develop a freeware utility.
