Landscaping And Garden Ideas With Pictures
Landscaping And Garden Ideas Pictures The styles and examples of garden design and landscaping are practically endless. The free pictures and information available to you is also endless. Getting ideas to landscape your home shouldn't be a problem. While my own Gallery of Garden Ideas is a wealth of free information, the scope of home landscape design goes beyond any single designers imagination. And way beyond my own. I originally started this directory for myself as a catalog of landscaping pictures to refer back to for ideas. I've decided to categorize it as an examples resource for everyone. It could take some time. Garden and landscape design has a style for nearly every climate, country, trend, fascination, art form, era, and you name it. I do believe there are more pictures and themes than I could possibly go through.

Amazon.com: Sunset Landscaping With Stone: Hazel White: Books
This is a well designed, and obviously recently redone, book. The content is a "hot" subject in the landscaping industry particularly as stonework relates to low water/low maintenance outdoor spaces. Both the sculptural and "connection with nature" qualities of stonework are now in vogue as well. And people don't mind spending the money today to acquire the permancy, strength and beauty of good stonework. This book should get even the passive observer excited about the possiblities. As a landscape designer, I'm constantly looking for good references and ideas that might not be common in my geographic area. This book does a very nice job of pictorally displaying dozens of stone-based designs and settings from all over the country (and possibly some internationally). The editorial content and organization of the chapters also contribute to the success of the book. If you like to look at a lot of professionally shot pictures of professionally designed, stone-based landscaping (and get decent captioning for each picture) this book should more than satisfy you. The only issue I have is that the type was a bit small and therefor difficult to read.
